After shampooing, I always use conditioner, but I still face tangled hair when combing. To achieve tangle-free brushing, I started making a hair serum. I am going to share with you the secret process of this hair serum. Here’s the process:

What you'll need:
Aloe vera gel (from a plant or bottled)
Almond oil
Hair conditioner
Any essential oil (optional)
Process:
Fresh Aloe Vera Gel: If using a plant, cut out 1 cup of aloe vera gel. Blend the gel to make juice, then boil it until thickened. Strain the thickened gel. (Aloe vera helps strengthen hair, reduce dandruff, promote hair growth, prevent hair loss, and protect hair from sun damage. It also soothes the scalp and contains vitamins A, C, and E for healthy hair growth and repair.)
Bottled Aloe Vera Gel: If using market-bottled aloe vera gel, mix 1/2 cup filtered water with 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel. Strain the mixture before using. But before buying bottled aloe vera gel observe that it looks crystal and clear. Crystal and clear gel will be pure gel. Artificial color and fragrance, mean there are more chemicals in the gel. So try to buy crystal and clear gel from the market.
Almond Oil Benefits:
Almond oil is rich in fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6), vitamins, and minerals that support hair growth, soften and manage hair, restore moisture, prevent breakage, and control frizz. Almond oil is suitable for all hair types (dry, wet, curly, damaged) and helps prevent dandruff and scalp infections. It’s a great source of vitamin E (protects from free radical damage), and magnesium (strengthens hair follicles), and conditions hair for softness, smoothness, and manageability. Almond oil also adds shine and health to hair by sealing the cuticle and reflecting light.
Mixing the Ingredients:
Add the thickened aloe vera gel (or strained bottled gel) and 1 tablespoon of almond oil to a bowl. Blend well with a hand blender. If a blender isn’t available, use a fork to mix thoroughly.
Adding Conditioner and Essential Oil : (Essential oil is Optional):
Add 2-3 drops of hair conditioner and blend or mix with a fork. Then, for preservation (optional), add 2-3 drops of essential oil (like tea tree or lavender) and mix well.
Storing the Serum:
Pour the serum into a spray bottle using a funnel.
How I use it:
I wash my hair twice a week. After shampooing, I wrap my hair in a t-shirt to remove excess water. Then, I comb the ends and tie my hair loosely. Once my hair is damp (not soaking wet),
I spray the serum onto my palm and apply it to the damp hair, using as much as needed. After applying the serum, I brush my hair, and feel detangled! The scent is lovely and refreshing (you have to try it to understand!).
Loving the Results:
I love this serum! I keep touching my hair because it feels so smooth and tangle-free
Sterilizing the Spray Bottle:
Take a spray bottle apart (remove the spray head).
Boil water in a pot and let it cool to lukewarm.
Add the bottle parts and dishwashing liquid to the lukewarm water.
Scrub with a brush to clean thoroughly.
Rinse with plain water and dry with a towel (upside down to drain excess water).
For germ prevention, sterilize with a spray bottle sterilizer (optional).
After sterilizing (or washing), pour the serum into the bottle and use it.
Preservation:
I store the serum in the refrigerator and take it out an hour before using it. One bottle typically lasts 5-6 uses (about 3 weeks). I make a new batch when it runs out.
