The scalp is very oily and gets dirty very fast. If I wash my hair today, it will become oily and dirty again by the day after tomorrow. So, I started a weekly routine to remove excess oil from my hair, keep it frizz-free, and slow down the oiliness.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Apple cider vinegar water:
Apple cider vinegar contains 94% water, 5% acetic acid with 1% carbohydrates, and no fat or protein. In 100 grams (ml) of apple cider vinegar, there are 22 calories with a negligible amount of micronutrients. Low-level consumption of apple cider vinegar is considered low risk. The diluted formula is the safest way to use it, and that’s what I do with amazing results.
In this process, I use my homemade apple cider vinegar, which I always keep refrigerated because it’s made naturally and has no preservatives, shortening its shelf life. Two hours before showering, I take out ½ cup of apple cider vinegar to warm up to room temperature. Once it’s warm, I take it into the bathroom along with the rest of my supplies. Keep it out of reach of children. I use this on days when I have more time to pamper myself.
How I apply it:
I wet my hair with plain water, then take 5 pumps of shampoo into a mug. I add the same amount of water to the shampoo, mix it well, and apply it to my hair. I massage my scalp thoroughly to cleanse it. Then, I rinse the shampoo out with water completely. After removing excess water by gently squeezing my hair, I apply conditioner to the ends and put my hair in a bun. I leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing it out thoroughly with plain water. Again, I remove excess water by squeezing my hair. Finally, I take ½ cup of apple cider vinegar, dilute it in a mug with water, and use this as a final rinse for my hair. This helps keep my hair frizz-free for 1-4 days.
Lemon water:
Lemon is a fruit that almost everyone enjoys eating or drinking. But besides that, it also has cleaning properties. Lemon juice contains citric acid, which can kill bacteria and other germs. Pollution and sweat can make my hair oily, leaving a sticky layer and buildup. The acidity in lemon juice helps prevent this type of dirt.
How to:
The process is the same as the apple cider vinegar rinse. Mix 1 lemon juice into water instead of apple cider vinegar for a final rinse. Lemon water makes my hair silky and shiny, and it also helps reduce dandruff.
Satin Pillow Cases:
I use satin pillowcases to prevent hair frizzing and breakage. They help keep my hair feeling soft, especially at night when we sleep for long periods. The smooth, slippery texture of satin pillowcases allows my head to move easily on them. As we all know, satin pillowcases have many benefits. They help retain moisture in the skin and hair, provide a cool feeling, and soothe both the scalp and hair. I wash them every week to maintain these benefits.
Satin hair bands:
There are so many hair bands in the market. But satin bands are very popular for their luxurious property. To keep hair moisture and prevent hair from unwanted dirt. It helps to keep hair silky for a long time. I also wear this kind of satin hair band to get its benefits and keep my hair healthy, silky, shiny, and frizz-free.
I benefit from these things to keep my hair frizz-free, silky, and shiny. These doings prevent hair breakage and all of them are natural processes to keep hair healthy.
