How I Follow a Simple Skincare Routine in Summer:
In the morning, I wash my face with plain water. It gives me a refreshing vibe. Before going out, I wash my face with my regular face wash.
Then, I apply moisturizer to damp skin, which also gives my skin a cool effect. I always use a light moisturizer, especially a water- or gel-based moisturizer in the summertime. This soothes my skin. After the moisturizer is absorbed, I must apply sunscreen that contains SPF 50 and gives protection from UVA and UVB rays.
My face always sweats in summer whenever I apply cream, sunscreen, or anything else. So, I apply sweatproof sunscreen and face powder that also contains SPF 50. Face powder gives me double protection: first, it helps to control sweating, and second, it gives protection from the sun. I always keep a tissue in my hand. If I sweat, then I can wipe it with a tissue without touching my face with my hands.
I wear full-sleeve dresses and cover my hair with a scarf also to protect them from sun rays. I apply the same sunscreen on my exposed parts—hands and legs—which clothes can’t cover. I always keep an umbrella and sunscreen in my bag in the summer season for protection from sun rays.
When I stay at home all day, I simply wash my face with plain water and apply my moisturizer or I directly apply sunscreen. At home, I don’t apply sunscreen when the weather is cold or not so sunny. I feel comfortable staying in my natural look without applying so many products at home.
